What this is

OpenCommerceIndex is an open, volunteer-maintained directory that describes online stores and how an assistant can query them. It is information, not a shopping service. Purchases, payments, delivery and warranties happen exclusively between you and the store.

No warranties or recommendations

The directory and the plugin are provided "as is", with no warranty of accuracy, availability or fitness for a purpose. A profile describes how to find information on a store; it is not a recommendation, a verification of the seller's commercial reliability or a statement about prices. Prices and stock shown by your assistant are retrieved live from the store's site and can change or contain errors. Always confirm on the store before buying.

Relationship with stores

We have no commercial relationship with listed stores, charge nothing for listing or ranking and use no affiliate links. Store names and content belong to their owners. Any store can request a correction or removal.

Licenses

Directory data is published under CC0 1.0 and code under Apache 2.0.

Acceptable use

By using the plugin you agree to respect each store's limits (robots.txt, terms of use) and not to use the directory to bypass blocks, overload sites or place automated purchases without authorization. The plugin is designed not to do so.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not liable for damages arising from use of the directory, the plugin or the linked stores.

We may update these terms; the date above marks the current version. Questions go to the project discussions.
